A wall of perfection . . . .
My proposal is to approach people and ask them to show their interpretation of a perfect world. Everyone can use the maximal space of an A4 on a large wall of approx 3m x 2m. It can be an art piece, a photo, a drawing, a text or something that you can hang up. I think it would be great to invite different people; the elderly in a home, asylum seekers in an integration centre, children from primary school, women from a textile course, to make something with their name and photo attached. In this way we will create a wall of perfection and possibly see if there's any difference between the interpretation of the theme 'a perfect world' for the participating ages and/or groups. During the exhibitions the onlookers are also encouraged to contribute, thus allowing the wall to continually grow.
Hopefully this will produce a large positive art piece
that stimulates the onlooker into further thinking about how beautiful
and diverse a perfect world would be.
