Without thinking about it we follow the route that everyone, everyday follows. The route is determined already and we keep it that way. Delimited by fences, signs, values, standards and the time that you should be home to eat dinner, we travel through our lives. We pigeon-hole ourselves. Even when we recognise the differences based on the mistakes made hundreds of years ago we do nothing about it. Your own initiative is subordinated and thinking about what you really want is discouraged. Simply go along with the flow. That is the way with the least resistance.
In and around the locations of the exhibitions I want to create an 'investigative hunt'. By following the route you will bang or come into conflict with ideas about space, freedom and what you can and cannot do. The conflict ensures that the participant must reason their own ideas, barriers, values and standards for themselves.
